Everyone knows the program that has marked the history for the exchange of files through server, that's why today I present the ’ latest version of Emule with main features:


  • Added a new ed2k link type: “ed2k://|search|[searchterm]|/”that triggers a search in eMule with specified
  • Progress bar in taskbar for Windows 7
  • Various fixes to resolve troubles with Windows 7
  • Upload code optimization to increase the maximum speed especially in LAN
  • Changed Kad to work better in small LAN: recognizes when emule is working exclusively in a LAN and is properly to be open and not “firewalled”.
  • Added a new chart in the Kad, that allows you to view each search Kad in detail (curiosity for developers)
  • eMule now uses ED2k-Hash + AICH-Hash + Size File to identify the files themselves, so now uses two hashing algorithms simultaneously (MD4 and SHA1) to verify a receipt
  • You can re-enable files “scattered” on windows 7 (on Windows Vista still does not work). Attention to the fragmentation of the hard disk!
  • Kad version 1 is no longer supported and not responding to requests from nodes 1 (l ’ with latest version of eMule Kad1 dates back to 4 years ago).
  • Lots of fixes and ram consumption issues (memleak)
